Introduction

Uncertain data management have recently received much attention in the database community. In this section, we introduce Orion 2.0, a general-purpose uncertain Database Management System (DBMS) that unifies the modeling of probabilistic data across applications [15]. We first give the background and related work in uncertain database research to show motivations for implementing Orion 2.0, and then give an overview of its unique features.
